On June 13^th 2011, on behalf of Atfaluna society for deaf children (ASDC), Mr. Al Zaeem, ASDC Chairman, officially welcomed Mr. Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament, and other European officials.

 ASDC Chairman said, "We deeply thank Mr. Buzek for the time devoted to this visit, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the EU through his good self for the generous funding they granted to Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children, channeled through the German Association Christoffel-Blindenmission CBM, the main partner of ASDC."
