On April 4^th 2010, Mr. Al Zaeem, in his capacity as the Chairman of Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children, met the U.S. Congressman, Mr. Keith Ellison. The negative effect of the closure on the daily life of the Palestinian people was discussed, as well as the lasting dificulties caused by the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. Mr. Ellison was impressed by the professionalism at Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children.

U.S.congressman Keith Ellison visited the Gaza Strip to inspect the humanitarian situation caused by the Israeli blockade and delay in post-war construction. Mr. Ellison said that he came to Gaza to assess the situation and to talk to people in the civil society, including students, rights workers and businessmen.
