On April 21^st 2009, Mr. Al Zaeem met Mr. Friedrich Buttler, Special Representative of the Director-General; Mr. Martin Oelz, Equality, Migrant Workers and Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Team; Mr. Tariq A. Haq, Employment Development and Strategies Specialist of the International Labour Standards Office; and Ms. Rasha G. El-Shurafa, Programme Officer. The current situation in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli war was discussed, focusing on the effect of the war over the labor and the industrial sectors, and the delegation toured some of the flattened Industrial sites in the Gaza Strip.
