On April 27^th 2009, Mr. Al Zaeem met Mr. Philip Brennan, the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, along with other members of his delegation, at the site of the destroyed American International School in Gaza that was leveled during the Israeli war on Gaza. Mr. Al Zaeem briefed the delegation about the school, as well as the current situation in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli war and the effect of the closure imposed on Gaza.
