On February 22^nd 2009, Mr. Al Zaeem met Dr. Kevin M. Cahill, the Chief Adviser for Humanitarian Affairs of the Office of the President of the Sixty Third Session of the General Assembly in the United Nations. Discussions detailed the current situation in the Gaza Strip, effects of the Israeli war, the need for immediate humanitarian aid, as well as ways and means for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. Mr. Al Zaeem accompanied Dr. Cahill on a tour of Gaza, stopping at the site of the demolished American International School, where Mr. Al Zaeem serves as the legal advisor and a member of the board.
