Make the best of today, so that your tomorrow can be better.

Yesterday is but today’s memory,
And tomorrow is today’s dream.

So, with this promise for tomorrow, as the dusky sun of 2012, is ready to set, we have embarked again…. from Al-Zaeem & Associates Attorneys at Law & Legal Consultants….. our one & only, branded and solo article, dawning the year 2013.

When then is lost, as time is by,
We look upon the yearly wine
To see our substance in the lees.
Did tribe and purse most pleasing leave?
Then see the vat at mirror’s face
 And find in it, the yearly pace.

The New Year is a moment of quiet reflection. Reflect on the year gone by; of the happy gains and missed opportunities. Recount the good and bad of the past year. Introspect on your personal growth, and learn from the experience. New Year is the time to ensure that we bring balance to our life with positive influences overriding the negative ones. Let us learn to live life without regrets and embrace each New Year with renewed energy . Let our New Year's resolution be this:

We will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word. To stick to a good workout plan that will keep us healthy and happy. To live for God. To learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow. Something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. Not to be a pessimist who sees difficulty in every opportunity but to be an optimist, who sees the opportunity in every difficulty? Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.

Be thou the rainbow in the storms of life.
