Special Focus on Developing a Complete New System
"A bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you fail to make the turn."
Another breaking event took place when, Al-Zaeem & Associates, headed by Tatweer, held a work-shop on last Saturday, August 25th, 2012, at ArcMed Hotel
Mr. Sharhabeel Alzaeem, along with his managing team and co-workers, were gathered for a formal meeting, which included a discussion of innovative ideas related to renovating office management system, and different methodologies to renovate the system into one dynamic body with increased efficiency.
"A little push in the right direction can make a big difference."
As we all know, office management is the administrative handling, controlling and maintaining a balance process of work, which is necessary to achieve the best service that can be provided to the clients/customers.
Building new business is not an easy task. It does not matter what industry you are in, whether you are providing a product or a service, experienced entrepreneur or a newcomer. The fact remains; it is a journey that requires sacrifice, sleepless nights, hard labour and very few moments of joy.
The new strategy which was adopted after the meeting is to remain focused on delivering results in your new role, while being open and responsive to your colleagues. It also included getting involved in new projects and initiatives that require the high technical capabilities we always had, and the new management capabilities that is being added through the new strategy. As they say. ."If you are not riding the wave of change. You will find yourself beneath it." Change is the only constant in life, thus through the renovation of our system we are aiming to make sure that every future change will be purely positive influence through anticipating the change, and plan steps ahead of it. Through this renovation, we will let go of the old weights, take all the valuable expertise and experiences, and sale toward more success and new opportunities. As they say "You Cannot Discover New Oceans Unless You Have the Courage to Lose Sight of the Shore."
"Success is a journey, not a destination. Some people dream of success, while others wake up and work at it."
Special focus is paid to create the most suitable environment, develop superb interpersonal skills and communication capabilities among the employees.
As personal issues and work pressures can affect the behaviour at work and is often reflected in the way we communicate, and to avoid inappropriate reactions that might adversely impact our relations with our peers, jeopardize our teamwork and reduce our performance, the seven Cs of communication i.e. Clarity, Conciseness, Completeness, Concreteness, Consideration & Courtesy... are time tested and help strengthen team relations. It will determine the outcome of our performances, relationships and circumstances in boosting the healthy atmosphere in this entire new system of management.
As an old adage goes: "Tell me & I forget, show me & I remember, involve me & I understand."
It is the last part of this statement that is the essence of this growth that will embark the journey towards success.
Meanwhile, we had been privileged of being honored by Mr. Sharhabeel AlZaeem's esteemed presence at the work-shop in the middle of our session and had the opportunity to witness the speech given by him on the above stated subject matter. It was brief but concrete. He stated that in every organization and with every individual within the organization, there are steps that must be taken to drive results and achieve the goals that have been set. All of us should identify the "rocks" that must be moved daily in order to achieve our goals as a teamwork. We must be able to manage our own activities and duties, yet be strong and flexible enough to function as a team and encourage each other when we have fallen behind and we must have the endurance to do this day in and day out.
After his serene address to his employees, the work-shop was resolved and we all took our leave to the final and last abode i.e. to a solemn buffet.
"Be a creator…not a creature of your circumstances."
